These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using "Work-Friendly Cafes" (/cafe/, the "Service"), operated by Iroha Production (いろは企画) (the "Operator") under 9maps.com. By using the Service you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. What the Service is
The Service is a free reference map showing whether cafes in Tokyo's 23 wards and Osaka City have power outlets and Wi-Fi. No account is needed, and you are never asked to enter your name, contact details or anything similar.
On a shop's detail panel, people who have actually been there may vote on whether outlets and Wi-Fi were available, or report that they could not work there. Both are optional.
2. About the accuracy of what is shown
Shop locations, names and opening hours come from OpenStreetMap data. Information about power outlets and Wi-Fi is based on each chain's official information, checks by the Operator, and votes from users.
- Seats get rearranged, shops get refurbished, shops close, and rules change when a cafe is busy, so what is shown may differ from the actual situation at the shop.
- Whether you may work in a shop, and how long you may stay, is for each shop to decide; please follow its policy. Nothing shown in the Service guarantees that working is permitted.
- User votes are reference information based on the experience of individual users.
Please also check the shop's own information before you go. The Operator does not warrant that the information shown is accurate, complete or up to date.
3. Votes and reports
Please vote and report on the basis of the situation when you actually used the shop. Votes are aggregated and displayed; for reports of "could not work", the Operator reviews the content before deciding whether to reflect it on the map. Votes and reports that the Operator judges inappropriate may be invalidated without notice.
4. Requests to remove or correct an entry (for shop owners)
If you are connected with a shop and would like its entry removed or corrected, please contact us through the contact form. You can also open the form from the "Shop owners: request removal" button on the shop's detail panel. Please include the shop name and the ward it is in. We will review and act on your request.
5. Sources and reuse of the data

If you reuse the shop data from the Service, please follow the terms of the Open Database License.
6. Prohibited conduct
Please refrain from the following when using the Service.
- Votes or reports that are untrue, repeated votes or reports about the same shop, and reports intended to damage a shop's reputation
- Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service, such as excessive automated access or machine-generated submissions to the voting endpoint
- Altering information from the Service and presenting it as information provided by the Operator
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts that infringe the rights of other users, of shops, or of third parties
7. Disclaimer
The Operator accepts no liability for any damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the Service. The Service may change, and its provision may be suspended or ended, without notice.
Where you move from the Service to an external site, such as a shop's own website or a map service, the Operator accepts no responsibility for that site.
8. Copyright
Copyright in the Service's screen layout, map presentation, explanatory text and program belongs to the Operator (for the shop data, see "5. Sources and reuse of the data"). You are free to use screenshots in articles, social media posts and presentations provided you credit the source. Please refrain from copying, republishing or redistributing the program itself.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the Japanese court with jurisdiction over the Operator's location.
10. Changes to these Terms
The Operator may change these Terms as necessary. Changed Terms take effect when they are posted on this page.

1. Our approach
The Service requires neither registration nor sign-in. There is no screen that asks for your name, address, telephone number or email address, and the Operator never receives any of these.
2. Information recorded automatically
In delivering the Service, the hosting provider's servers automatically record the following, as on any ordinary website.
- IP address
- Browser type and version (user agent)
- Date and time of access, and the address of the page viewed
- Referring address, where you arrived from another site
These are used to deal with improper access and to confirm that delivery is working correctly. They are not used to identify individuals.
3. Analytics
To understand which pages are viewed and how often, the Service uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device to identify you. What is recorded is aggregate information such as the address of the page viewed, the referrer, the country, the device type and how long the page took to display.
4. Information sent when you vote or report
When you vote on power outlets or Wi-Fi, or report that you could or could not work at a shop, the following is sent to and stored on the Operator's server (Cloudflare).
- The shop concerned, the content of the vote or report, and the date and time
- A random number for your device (generated inside your browser; it is not linked to your name or anything similar). It is used to prevent repeated voting on the same shop from one device
- A value derived from your IP address in a form that cannot be reversed. It is used only to prevent large volumes of submissions from one connection; the IP address itself is not stored
To prevent improper submissions, the Service may use Cloudflare Turnstile (a check that you are not a robot).
5. Cookies and browser storage
The Service does not use cookies. It does, however, save the following in your browser's storage (local storage).
- The random device number described above, together with the state of the votes and reports you pressed on that device (so that the buttons can be shown as pressed again)
- If you use "Survey mode", the content you recorded on that device (this is not sent to the Operator's server)
These disappear if you delete this site's data from your browser settings.
6. Communication with external services
Displaying the Service involves communication with the following external services. The Operator provides none of them with user information, but by the nature of the communication your IP address and browser information are sent to each provider.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — for delivering the Service, analytics, and receiving votes and reports
- jsDelivr — for loading the programs used to display the map
- OpenFreeMap — for loading the base map
If you press a link to a shop's official website or to Google Maps, you move to that site. How information is handled there is governed by each provider's privacy policy.
7. Provision to third parties
Except where required by law, the Operator does not provide information it has obtained to third parties.
8. Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion
Because the Service holds no information that can identify a particular individual, there is in principle no information for the Operator to disclose in response to such a request. For any questions, please use the form given in "11. Contact" of the Terms of Use.
9. Changes to this Policy
The Operator may change this Policy as necessary. Changed content applies when it is posted on this page.
